We enjoyed our time on Mykonos doing some sightseeing in the countryside, as well as a walking tour of Mykonos town.

No matter where I am, I seem to be attracted to repeating shapes and patterns.

There are small, quaint hamlets sprinkled over much of Mykonos creating many image opportunities of white-washed buildings on the seaside.

I loved the small courtyards in the residential areas, often accented with trees and bright flowers.

Many of the bars and restaurants provide a close-up view of the sea side!

Part of the fun in doing a walking tour of Mykonos town is finding unusual things to photograph.

Including ‘the evil eye’.

Fishing boats and other iconic images of Greece are plentiful on the island of Mykonos.

If you enjoy being immersed in crowds, shops, and the smells of restaurants, Mykonos provides a treasure trove of street photography opportunities.

And, in a pinch a napkin can do a great job as a camera prop to capture a wonderful sunset…
