Wai-O-Tapu Thermal Wonderland, Nikon 1 J5 + 1 Nikon 6.7-13 mm f/3.5-5.6 @ 13 mm, efov 35mm, f/8, 1/40, ISO-800

This eBook is the product of three trips to New Zealand between 2013 and 2018. We spent a total of about 3 months on the ground driving throughout New Zealand and photographing various locations in this spectacular country.

Purakaunui Falls, Nikon 1 J5 + 1 Nikon 6.7-13 mm, f/3.5-5.6 mm @ 8 mm, efov 21 mm, f/8, 1/4, ISO-160

To replicate the way most holiday travellers capture their images, all of our photographs were done on a ‘catch as catch can’ basis with most of them taken between 9 am and 5 pm.

Kaka Point, Nikon 1 J5 + 1 Nikon 10-100 mm f/4-5.6 @ 10 mm, efov 27 mm, f/8, 1/1000, ISO-800

During each of our New Zealand trips we were on tight schedules and we did not go back to the same location day after day waiting for ideal conditions.

Australasian Gannet, Pelorus Mail Boat Tour, Nikon 1 V2 + 1 Nikon CX 70-300 mm f/4.5-5.6 @ 162 mm, efov 437 mm, 1/2000, f/5.6, ISO-360

Like most travellers, we faced plenty of cloudy and rainy conditions and simply did the best we could with the weather we faced each day.

Onaero Beach, Nikon 1 J5 + 1 Nikon 6.7-13 mm, f/3.5-5.6 mm @ 13 mm, efov 3 5mm, f/5.6, 1/800, ISO-400

We felt that taking this approach would produce a realistic collection of images that most readers could replicate.

Nelson – Tahunanui Beach, Nikon 1 J5 + 1 Nikon 10-100 mm f/4-5.6 @ 10 mm, efov 27 mm, f/5.6, 1/640, ISO-160

  • people who enjoy landscape and travel photography in general

A Note about eBook Downloads
The download is a two-stage process. When you first click on the Buy Button you will be transferred to the PayPal site for you to make your payment. Once that is completed you will be redirected back to the website. You must wait for a minute or two after the PayPal logo has disappeared before you begin your download. There will be a pause for several minutes while the website prepares a personalized copy of the eBook you just purchased. This delay is normal. Do not click a second time as this will interrupt the creation of your personalized eBook. After a few minutes, the download will then begin. Your copy of the eBook you just purchased will have a QR code unique to you, and your password will be your email address that you used when purchasing the eBook.
