As regular readers will know, the Nikon 1 system is a small, lightweight system that is very capable. Over the years we’ve used our gear for landscape, nature, travel, flower and bird photography to name a few genres.

After we sold all of our Nikon full frame gear back in July 2015 we used our Nikon 1 equipment exclusively for about four years. Including doing all of our client video projects with it. The Nikon 1 system did yeoman’s service for us.

Our V-Series camera bodies were used primarily for bird-in-flight photography utilizing fast frame rates. So, most of the shutter count was done with the cameras’ electronic shutters. Our J5 body was used mainly for travel and general photography.

As I was going through my camera gear storage closet I came across two items that I had totally forgotten about. These items were from my full frame days. A Zacuto ZFinder Pro 3X and a set of three neutral density graduated soft 4″ x 6″ Lee Filters (0.3, 0.6 and 0.9 with soft cover), complete with foundation and 77 mm adapter ring. So, we’d like to find new homes for these two items as well.

We would rather find new homes for some of our Nikon 1 gear rather than have all of it sit idle in my camera gear closet.
