Time to Vacate

This short article shares an image run of a sparrow realizing that it is time to vacate its perch as a woodpecker approaches. All photographs were captured handheld using the Olympus OM-D E-M1X’s Pro Capture H mode.

Using the Olympus Pro Capture H mode with the Olympus OM-D E-M1X makes photographing these slice of life moments in nature a practical reality. These eight ‘time to vacate’ photographs were captured in a total of 1/13th of a second… and before I fully depressed the shutter on my camera.

Technical Note:
Photographs were captured handheld using camera gear as noted in the EXIF data. All images were produced from RAW files using my standard process. All photographs are displayed as 100% captures without any cropping.
