Individual stems of plants with their array of leaves can provide a unique kind of symmetry.

At other times leaves can form into a cascade of right to left motion.

Or display themselves in a gently radiating manner.

Nature puts things into orderly steps, connecting one level to the next.

It can form gentle, vertical barriers.

Or sharp radiating patterns.

The shades and hues in only a part of nature’s colour pallet can be striking and bold.

Or, can present a simple, monochromatic presence.

There can be a feeling of intense competition.

Or, a cascade of cooperation.
