I’m in the process of creating a video of a residential garden. Part of the content in that project will be a number of still images as well as various video clips. As I was working on some images in post I couldn’t help but be captivated by the beauty of details that nature creates.

Flowers in their totality can be beautiful and intricate. Sometimes we can discover even more incredible beauty the closer we look.

Using a dedicated macro lens, close focusing filter, or extension tubes can bring us even further into a realm almost alien to us.

Pushing visual boundaries also pushes our perspectives and appreciation of reality.

I’ve always found it incredible how focusing in on something can broaden our view of life and its complexities.
