Pond Photography with MC-20

Blossoms From a Distance

It can sometimes be a challenge to photograph blossoms such as water lilies… from a distance… and still get the entire flower in focus. Often we don’t have the physical access needed to get close to subject flowers. As a result we can be forced to use a longer focal length telephoto zoom lens for our compositions. This can create depth-of-field challenges.

Best BIF Settings

This article discusses best BIF (bird-in-flight) settings, and shares a selection of recently captured photographs of purple martins in free flight. All of the featured images were captured handheld at Biggar Lagoons Wetlands in Grimsby Ontario a few days ago during a quick 1.5 hour visit. It was a very productive outing that created over 100 useable images in a very compressed time frame.
