It may also provide some visual inspiration for readers, regardless of the camera gear that they may own. Folks who currently use a Smartphone for their photography may also find Finding Visual Expression of interest.
From time to time almost all of us can benefit from moments of inspiration, or be reminded of some fundamental photographic approaches that we can use when we’re out with our cameras.
Finding Visual Expression is a non technical photography related eBook. You won’t find long explanations on technique and camera settings, or any detailed EXIF data.
This was done to reinforce the idea that photographic creativity can emerge with whatever image creating tool a photographer may be holding in their hands.
As regular readers will know, I’ve been using smaller sensor cameras since 2014.
As a result, all of the images included in Finding Visual Expression were captured with equipment like Nikon 1, Olympus M4/3, as well as some point and shoot cameras.
The objective of this eBook is very simple. To encourage photographers to experience the world around them with a renewed sense of wonder… as would a child.
The image making equipment that we may use can vary significantly.
Many of us use dedicated interchangeable lens cameras.
Our dedicated camera systems could utilize any one of a number of sensor formats.
Some of us may capture most of our photographs with a Smartphone.
Regardless of what is used, this eBook may provide you with some inspiration, or composition approaches that may be of interest.
As noted earlier, Finding Visual Expression is divided into fifteen topical segments.
Each section begins with a short topic summary.
This is followed by a selection of images that illustrates the use of that concept.
Sometimes all we need as photographers is a bit of inspiration.
We hope you can find some of that in the wide variety of photographs that are included in this eBook.
Finding Visual Expression is available for download for an investment of $11.99 Cdn. The best viewing experience of this eBook will be at 100% using Adobe Acrobat Reader.
A Note about the Download Process
The download is a two-stage process. When you first click on the Buy Button you will be transferred to the PayPal site for you to make your payment. Once that is completed you will be redirected back to the website. You must wait for a minute or two after the PayPal logo has disappeared before you begin your download. There will be a pause for several minutes while the website prepares a personalized copy of the eBook you just purchased. This delay is normal. Do not click a second time as this will interrupt the creation of your personalized eBook. After a few minutes, the download will then begin. Your copy of the eBook you just purchased will have a QR code unique to you, and your password will be your email address that you used when purchasing the eBook.
