New Nature Lens

After placing my order directly with OM Digital Solutions at the end of January, my new nature lens, the M.Zuiko150-600 mm f/5-6.3 IS, arrived late this afternoon. Obviously I haven’t had time to put this new nature lens through its paces. I will be doing so during the weeks and months ahead, so you can expect to see numerous articles about my hands-on field testing.

Cotton Carrier G3 Harness for 2 Cameras Review

After a few weeks of ongoing use, I thought it was time for me to do a Cotton Carrier G3 Harness for 2 Cameras Review. As I’ve been progressed more into the ‘mature’ ranks of humanity,  I’ve been contemplating getting some kind of camera support to reduce arm, neck and back strain.

After doing some research and then talking to a couple of other photographers who have the Cotton Carrier G3 Harness, I decided this was my best option.

E-M1X Long Term Review

After almost 5 years of extensive first hand experience, and rigorous use, it’s time for me to do an E-M1X long term review. This review follows a number of other E-M1X reviews that I’ve done over the past number of years. These include: E-M1X 4 Year Review, E-M1X Love, E-M1X 2 Year Review, E-M1X Twelve Month Review, and E-M1X 6 Month Review.

This is a hands-on, real life review based on years of in-the-field experience. You won’t have to read any specifications regurgitated from a manual or spec sheet. If you want that material, it is readily available on the internet.

BIF Shooting Style Adjustment

I went out today to experiment with a BIF shooting style adjustment so I could evaluate the feasibility of using a heavier lens for my bird photography. Like a number of other Olympus/OM System camera equipment users the new M.Zuiko 150-600mm f/5-6.3 IS super zoom has piqued my interest.

it’s in our NATURE

it’s in our NATURE is a very interesting phrase that has various interpretations, and also may be significant from a marketing perspective. In a recent M.Zuiko 150-600mm f/5-6.3 launch video, this promotional message ended with the phrase it’s in our NATURE. Watch the video until the very end to see this positioning statement.

In my view, this was no accident, but rather an important step forward in the strategic positioning of OM Digital Solutions camera business.
