This article features some Lowville Park landscape images captured handheld using the M.Zuiko 12-100 mm f/4 IS PRO zoom lens. A friend and I were on our way to Elora (a possible subject for another posting) and decided to stop in to photograph the fall colours at Lowville Park in Ontario.

Lowville Park is located in the hamlet of Lowville which is situated on Guelph Line in the north end of Burlington.

Bronte Creek runs through Lowville Park, and provides some opportunities to incorporate some fairly still water into landscape images. There are also some grassed areas that are well suited to picnics and other family activities.

The fall colours we starting to come into view which added some interest to landscape images.

After crossing over Bronte Creek on one of the foot bridges, we spent a lot of our time looking for image opportunities along the banks of the creek… as you can see in the following images.

There is an old farm building on the property which affords some opportunities to include some architectural elements into compositions.

After an enjoyable hour creating images at Lowville Park, we hiked back to the car to continue our journey to Elora.
Technical Note
Photographs were captured handheld using camera gear as noted in the EXIF data. All images were created from out-of-camera RAW files using my standard process in post. This is the 1,489 article published on this website since its original inception in 2015.
